Happy 18th Birthday Justin

Today was Justin's Birthday and we celebrated at a Pizza place with the Abud Family and Tiffany, Emma and Ethan. Justin had birthday cake and the Abud Family gave him a birthday gift. It was a Brazil Christian Tshirt. There was a soccer field by the resturant and Justin and Ben enjoyed watching the teams play while we waited on our food. We celebrated the way Brazilians do by going around the table and talking about the Birthday Boy. Everybody share really nice things about Justin and then Abud prayed for him. It was a fun night for all.

Also today the team going into the interior made it there safetly. It took them about 23 hours by 4 wheel drive truck. They only had to use the winch 6 times and one of them they had to be pulled out by tractor. I'm sure that when they come back in we will have some good pictures of that. Aaron told Tiffany that Joe was really enjoying it. I'm not sure that we will hear from them again until Saturday.

Justin, Ben and Emily have been going to the English speaking school called "Wizard" The coordinator is a Christian man that is really enthusiatic. Emily enjoys talking to the kids and the question and answer sessions about the US culture. She is also learning some portuguese from the classes. She has shared the "cube" a few times. She also says "hi" to her Mommy and Daddy and of course you too Mitchell. Ben enjoys the talking to the students and the teachers are very nice to him. One of them thought he was Harry from the Royal Family. LOL We got a kick out of it. They think he talks very slow and calls him a cowboy. He too has shared the "cube" a few times. Justin has loved going to the school and sharing with the older students about the American culture. They have ask many questions about music and what he does for entertainment. He has had a great chance to share the "cube" during the questions. I (Rhonda) shared with a teacher and she said that she had never been told anything about God. She wants to be in a Bible study and learn more. Tiffany is going to go with us to meet her and we hope that she is able to share with her again. Tomorrow we will be going back and sharing with the adult classes. Please pray for us to be bold and to have clarity of what the students ask. We are planting seeds but our students would love to see some fruit. The students of the school are from a different social class than we have worked with here before and they are harder to reach.

Continue to pray for us and especially for the team in the interior as they start new Life Groups there. We love you Emmanuel Family.

The work you are doing in the schools sounds so exciting. We will continue to pray as you go back with Tiffany today. Praise God for the safe journey of the team to the interior. We had prayed that they would made it in one day. To God be the glory.

What a great group of people for Justin to spend his special day with! Thank you all!
I get teary eyed every time I read one of your messages. I can just feel the Lord's blessing pouring over each of you and then being passed on to those around you. Glory, glory!
Love you!
