Gracious Answers to Prayer
We are so thankful for your part in this ministry: love, prayers, and support! God has worked in many wonderful ways. Aaron made three successful trips into the interior. We had the joy and privilege of working with two mission teams from the states. A house group was started in the interior town of Tarauacá. It has plans to start others this coming year. Our flood relief projects opened doors in the neighborhoods.
Continuing in Prayer
Your partnership with us is vital to God’s work in this ministry. Pray for opportunities and boldness to share the love of Christ with kid’s at the Children’s Hospital as we share “gently used” toys this Christmas. Pray for an evangelistic event with the new church plant in Taquari. Your partnership with us is vital to God’s work in this ministry.
From our Family to Yours
We hope and pray that each of you is having a delightful Christmas holiday season. Even here in Brazil it can be easy to get caught up in the hussle and bussle of Christmas. May we all remember that Jesus wonderful birth is the reason for this season!
Aaron has just finished up another great semester on discipleship at the seminary. He continues to make trips to the near by interior towns. He has been able to do the Paint Talk a few times and has been blessed by those who want to follow Jesus! He has also made a little make shift garden for us in the backyard. So far our lettuce, green onions, and tomatoes are doing great. I (Tiffany) have been blessed tremendously as I continue caring for my family. We are making good friends with our neighbors and hoping to invite them to an evangelistic Bible Study in our home some time in January. I have recently enjoyed singing in our church and participating in the Christmas Cantata.
We have also been blessed by the friendship of a new American missionary family who just moved to Rio Branco. The Doolittle’s are working with Macedonia Missions. We are so excited to have them here and look forward to furthering the Kingdom in Rio Branco along side one another!
Emma, Ethan and New Addition
Emma and Ethan are doing well. Emma is now 3 years and 9 months old. Ethan is now 1 year and 6 months old. They have been enjoying their new puppy dog Ali. Emma helped to paint Ali’s dog house earlier this year, but I think Emma and Ethan like the dog house better than Ali does. J Emma has really enjoyed participating in Ballet and has made many new friends as well as practicing her Portuguese. This past Sunday she sang in the Children’s Christmas musical.
Ethan is growing tall and thin. His handsome blue eyes and blond hair continually catch the attention of the Brazilians. He is trying many new English and Portuguese words. He has a very sweet nature. If he goes missing I can almost always be sure that he is out side giving himself and the dog a bath in the water hose. Bless his heart, right now he has 8 teeth making their way in at the same time. So, he has been a little under the weather lately.
And yes, you heard me right! We are excited to announce a new addition to our family. We are expecting a new baby sometime in August!!
